Lavendelfoto was a member of the BVPA until 2008, (Bundesverband der Pressebildagenturen und Bildarchive e.V. = the representative body for German picture agencies, which supported the foundation of the umbrella organisation Coordination of European Picture Agencies - CEPIC as the current representative of picture agencies in the European Union).

The development of this Website is a project to publish the in-house data-base of the botanical archive Lavendelfoto via internet and has constantly been improved and developed since December 2001:

In March 2010 we started another project with an international dictionary of Chinese medical plants and the corresponding TCM-drugs under Yaocaodict.com.

All pictures and texts on this website are subject to German copyright law. Any form of further use and / or publication as well as the linking of individual pictures, whole pages or frames is only permitted after written permission by Lavendelfoto has been granted.

We ask you to contact us in advance in cases of problems relating to copyright, competition law, unclarified questions concerning properties, property-rights of pictured locations, purported violation of trademarks or even domain disputes so we can take remedial action if necessary. Any invoice of a lawyer for a letter of caution without prior contact with us is hereby rejected for the purpose of compliance with our obligation to limit our liability.
